My blog as an indie game dev

Here’s a promise :O

Allright, here it goes. I want to write more on this blog cause I want to show the world what I’m doing and I want people to understand what my games are about. So hereby I solemnly pledge to write sometime spread across June:

• A write-up on Value
• A write-up on Narrow
• A post-mortem on NagnoB
• A write-up/post-mortem on Sens?
• And a post-mortem on Soul Searchin’

So yeah, that’s quite a lot :P but it’ll be interesting and it’ll be good for me to pollish up my writing skills a bit.

I maed a Ludum Dare game!

Hey hey,

Allright, this blog post is waaaay too late. But yeah, I joined Ludum Dare 23 and I made a game in 48 hours! :)

The game’s called Soul Searchin’ and of the 1402 LD entries in this compo it scored 4th in the overall category. So yeah, I’m pretty proud of that :3

Afterwards I made a post-compo version of the game which is now up on Flash Game License. To my great surprise a sponsor placed a bid on it. And with an amount that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside (hint: it’s a 1000 dollah bills, yo). Cause yeah, you know, I’m indie and all that, but I do like to have money for buying stuff, allright? :P

Anyway, I just wanted to say I had a blast with Ludum Dare. It was great fun and I learned a ton of shit ^^ I’ll definitely be joining LD24!

Allright, I’ll go post some screenies of the game now!

Sens? Is a story driven platformer based around 4 different senses. In 4 different dreams you get to explore these 4 senses separately. Each sense allows for a new way of navigating yourself through the pitch black darkness.

Renaming MagnoB into NagnoB

I’ve had some critique that I shouldn’t mention Mario in my game. So I’ve decided to rename “Mario ain’t got nuffin’ on Björn” into: “No one ain’t got nuffin’ on Björn”.
